Once we head back west to the Pacific, the group will make its way south near Baja Highway 19. A wide variety of vegetation and geographical terrain follow, with the colorful main streets of Todos Santos soon coming into view. A favorite spot of tourists and surfers, it's time for lunch at the city's famed Palapa restaurant.

Time to settle in for a great afternoon run to the sunny shores of Cabo San Lucas. The mountainous trails that snake through the rolling plateaus are the perfect place to test your driving skills for a final time. The road dips and swerves, at times in stark solitude, and at times though pine trees and woody shrubs.

Finally, your guide will direct you and your fellow Wide Open travelers through a little-known road directly into sunny Cabo San Lucas. The sense of achievement is now palatable as the white sand beaches of the Hacienda or Finisterra Hotel mark the end of the trail.

All that's left to do is salute one of life's great adventures with a final drink with our Wide Open staff. Then, prepare for a great time in town and dancing the night away at the always-lively El Squid Row.
