due west via a twisting valley trail toward the blue Pacific waters.
The wide open fields around Cuidad Insurgentes are next,
followed by fun, single-track sand washes through vast forests of Baja cactus.
We will enjoy an ocean-front gourmet Safari
lunch on the enchanting Magdelena Bay beach.
Be prepared for even more rugged fun. Long stretches of tall whoop-de-dos are next, but relax;
the state-of-the-art suspension of the Wide Open Challenge cars let you fly over them in total control
and comfort. Our tour now heads away from the ocean and due back east for a final, awe-inspiring run over the famous Baja 1000
“Waterfall Stair-Step” trail used by racers for a final sprint to the finish line in
La Paz.
