A hearty poolside breakfast is next, followed with an overview of the day's itinerary and driving route. Just as the
local fishermen are returning with their morning's catch, we're off into the Baja outback.
Today's travels will lead us into cavernous canyons and twisting sand washes located to the south
and west of San Felipe. These routes are an ideal time for you and your driving partner to hone your off-road
driving skills.
These roads are more technical than anything you've encountered before. A morning of stimulating time in the cockpit
and great sightseeing takes us all the way to lunch, where once again guests will enjoy a freshly prepared lunch.
We will now chase the afternoon light as the tour makes its way toward San Matias and the base of the Sierra San Pedro
Martir National Park. A rustic white sign with the words Mike's Sky Rancho 
is just off the highway.
For the next 25 miles, our teams will enjoy one of the finest runs in all of Baja, with swooping terrain,
technical switchbacks and optional car-launching jumps that highlight your climb. A final splash through
Simpsons Creek announces your arrival at Baja's own Mike's Sky Ranch.
Time to relax. A cold drink around the pool is perfect, and the smoke of mesquite wood fire soon fills the air.
A family-style dinner awaits, followed by cocktails and off-road videos in the legendary bar that Baja racers have visited
since 1966. Don't forget, it's lights out at 10pm!
