Wide Open Racing took a remarkable second place in the Class 10 Racing Division at the 2011 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, November 18-19 in Baja California North.
Wide Open’s race vehicles are dubbed Baja Challenge (BC) Cars, purpose-built off-road racecars with Subaru EJ25 engines, Weddle 4 speed manual transaxles, and custom twin A-arm suspensions with more than 18” of travel, capable of speeds in excess of 95 MPH.
With all three of Wide Open Racing’s Baja Challenge cars crossing the finish line, Wide Open extends its 100% completion rate over five years and 71 cars.
