Our Proposal :: Mark Wahlberg
Our offer is for Mr. Wahlberg to participate in the 2012 Baja 1000 driving approximately 1/3 of the total race. ( This is normal for an individual as a team is usually six members)

We are proposing that Mark start the race driving to a point where we can have easy access to extricate him and reconnect with the race course further south so he can drive the "Glory Leg" to the finish in La Paz. We will provide all the meals and accommodations while in Baja at suitable low profile locations and will cover all race registration requirements and race vehicle.
There will be no pre race press release or disclosure of Mark taking part in the race. We would however like to create marketing materials, possible TV exposure using the video footage, interviews, and still taken by our film crew during the race.

Wide Open Racing took a remarkable second place in the Class 10 Racing Division at the 2011 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, November 18-19 in Baja California North.
Wide Open’s race vehicles are dubbed Baja Challenge (BC) Cars, purpose-built off-road racecars with Subaru EJ25 engines, Weddle 4 speed manual transaxles, and custom twin A-arm suspensions with more than 18” of travel, capable of speeds in excess of 95 MPH.
With all three of Wide Open Racing's Baja Challenge cars crossing the finish line, Wide Open extends its 100% completion rate over five years and 71 cars.
